All proceeds from 'In Winter Blues' will benefit the International Rescue Commission. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC delivers lifesaving care to people fleeing conflict and natural disaster.

Right now, more people have been forced to flee their homes by conflict and crisis than at any time since World War II. The International Rescue Committee is providing relief to millions of uprooted people in war-torn Syria and other countries in crisis; in Europe, where refugees continue to seek safety; and in their 29 resettlement offices in the United States.

In Winter Blues

The sun is setting on crystal trees
Memories chill in grey twilight
I borrow this sorrow just to miss you
in Winter Blues

All is still upon the icy dome
Blankets of white meet midnight skies
Lonely recordings of old loves play like reruns
without you

Crazy arms longing to hold you
To bring you back where you belong
But your arms long for another
for another year or two
while I'm dreaming of you

Buried my sorrow in a sad song
Cried behind the evergreen
Real friends make a toast to remind me
they never like you anyway
in Winter Blues
